Ice skating

The words “figure skating” and “Val Gardena” recall at once Carolina Kostner. Carolina comes from Ortisei in Val Gardena and has already won several times the Italian championships. She has also earned some medals at European and World championships and has, moreover, participated at the Winter Olympic Games.

In all three villages of Val Gardena (Ortisei, S. Cristina and Selva Gardena) there are ice skating possibilities. The choice ranges from an indoor ice rink to natural ice rinks under the sky. You can, of course, rent ice skates at the rinks, if you don't have your own. Furthermore, also ice skating lessons are offered.

In the valley you can not only ice skate but also play curling.
